10 Beauty and Style Tips Shared by Suzi Weiss-Fischmann

During OPI’s fall launch at Hotel ME Madrid Reina Victoria, I had the chance to speak with the company’s Executive VP and Artistic director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann.  She gives a shoutout to our readers, “I love Canadians.  I think they are trendy and fashionable.  They embrace OPI.  They love new colours.  They love the names.  There is almost a cultish following of our brand in Canada.”

Here her top 5 beauty and fashion tips for DelectablyChic! readers:

Be original: In past, we transformed ourselves to look the same. Now, we transform ourselves to look different.  Celebrate your individuality.

Nail Power: Use your nails as a fashion accessory.  Nails can be very trend-setting, meaning that they don’t have to match lips – in fact, your hands and feet don’t have to match, either!  Having perfectly polished digits looks sexy and makes me feel like a movie star.

Be iconic: Always have one signature fashion or beauty secret.  Whether it be a signature scent, lip colour or scarf.  Be consistent and have people associate you with that look.  I always wear a Hermes scarf.   Wearing one makes any outfit look instantly chic and elegant.

Be timeless: Yet, at the same time, re-invent yourself through fashion.  For example, I still wear Chanel jackets from 15 years ago and they still look great.  Chanel is continually reinventing fashion, yet in a timeless way.

Know what you want: Make decisions – whether at work or what to wear – and don’t look back.  I am my own focus group and I know what I like.
