I don’t normally post information about scholarships and other programs offered by products and companies, but I was recently sent information about a scholarship offered by Aveda Institute.  Aveda products are favourites among many stylistas and the Aveda Institute is known through to graduate creative, fashion-forward stylists.  Five of these will be offered to applicants from Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto. This a great opportunity for anyone who wants to break into the industry. If you’re interested in giving this a shot, just apply by uploading a video (less than two minutes) you’ve created yourself telling them why you were “born to style.”  Your video will be judged by a panel of professionals in the field who will pick five finalists to represent each city.  You are also encouraged to share your uploaded video with friends and family through social media.  The five will then compete in a live event where one will be picked for the scholarship.  The last day to submit a video is March 31 at 11:59 pm ET.  Good luck to all who intend to participate!
