Banana Republic’s Mad Men Collection Launch Cocktail Party

As most people know, Banana Republic’s Mad Men collection, a collaboration between the store and Mad Men costume designer, Janie Bryant, debuted in stores and online yesterday.  After work parties were held at several locations, including the Toronto store at 80 Bloor Street West.  At that location, shoppers got to check out styles based on their favourite characters (especially Joan, Betty and Peggy for the women and Roger and Don for the guys) as well as complimentary cocktails, featuring a Tom Collins made with Sobieski vodka. Xbox Kinect and Yoostar2 were also there, allowing people to put themselves into Mad Men scenes.

The Bloor Street location was not the only store holding an event.  Other event locations included the Toronto Eaton Centre, Ottawa’s Rideau Centre, 1098 Robson Street in Vancouver as well as stores in Montreal and Calgary.

Still not sure what you want to buy?  Don’t take too long to make your decision as pieces are flying out of stores (and online) quickly.  You can check out some of our favourites here.
