The Beauty Supply Outlet is an Ontario-wide store carrying items that one might normally only find at a salon, including hair care products like DivaCurl and Paul Mitchell. There are also a variety of different hair dryers as well as curling devices, such as the MiraCurl by Babyliss. Then, there are the nail supplies including emery boards and polish favourites like Essie and O.P.I.
Interior of the Yonge and Eglinton store
I was able to visit the Yonge and Eglinton location to check out the store, which carries professional beauty supply goods for hair, nails and more. I was also lucky enough to be sent a gift card to help me make my purchase, they were really professional and nice, I went with my boyfriend and they offered lots of treatments for his grooming, which is great as men need it just like us, they were able to help him with a solution on how to stop facial hair itching, and he was really satisfied.
Some curling devices, including the MiraCurl (in blue)
The MiraCurl I purchased came with a complimentary case (the regular blue one does not)
The visit was great! Staff members are extremely professional and helpful, offering suggestions for its products. Want a home manicure or pedicure? Definitely try any of their nail products, including the polishes and tools. Brows need fixing? Why not get something from Tweezerman? For those who have curlier-textured hair, there are products just for you! DevaCurl’s trademark “No-Poo” and “Low-Poo” products to help you maintain your beautiful hair. And don’t forget hair oils (e.g. Morroccan Oil) to help maintain moisture. Everyone wants to have gorgeous, shiny hair, after all!
I’m a natural girl in terms of hair and nails – pretty much wash and go and neutral, preppy girl nail colour when I wear anything at all. As I was looking for something I could review quickly, they suggested that I pick up a styling tool rather than product. Thus, I decided to splurge on the MiraCurl ($209.99). I’ve long had trouble using regular curling irons as my hair always got tangled. The MiraCurl will suck up your hair as soon as you clip a strand in. There will then be between eight and 12 short beeps (depending on the tightness setting), followed by one longer beep, which is when you release the strand. Just let go and you will have a curl! It’s an investment, but definitely a great device. I went home and immediately tried it. It’s an investment, but something great to have, especially if you’ve had trouble with regular curling irons.

The best thing about the Beauty Supply Outlet are the Red Hot Deals, where you can save! As October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month is coming up, there’s definitely a pink theme going on right now, including a pink flatiron from CHI selling at $30 less than the regular price. I also spotted a (pink) volume spray from Kenra at 20% off and many more deals! So yes, definitely check them out at a Beauty Supply Outlet near you. You’ll want to sign up for Beauty Supply Outlet’s eNewsletter at here so you can be the first to hear about these Red Hot Deals. Want to know where your closest location is? Just visit their website and type in your city to find out!
