Why did you start your site?

I wanted a platform to showcase all the fabulous, eye catching, trendy and “OMG” things I spot online! Not to mention my outfits and the nail art that I do on myself and for others.

How long have you been blogging?

I began the blog in February of 2011 and have been going strong every week, ever since.

What kind of impact do you think bloggers have made in the style industries, if at all?

I think bloggers have made a HUGE impact in the fashion industry. Our viewpoint and reach is so valuable right now.  We are doing everything from commercials to editorials and now we have our own bag! That’s awesome!  I love how magazines and brands are embracing us, they realize that as technology transforms, so does the way they reach their audience – and that’s where we come in! The impact will only get bigger and better and I hope to have a big part in it.

Have you seen changes over the past few years?

Yes! I am addicted to magazines and catalogs…and in the past few years every major fashion magazine has included posts by and products supported by bloggers in their monthly editions.  We can’t be ignored!  We won’t be! LOL!

Who influences you the most in style?

Honestly, my mother. She was one of the classiest women I’ve ever met. Her style was classic, vintage, and trendy all wrapped into one. And every week I find myself dressing more and more the way she used to and  I am so proud of that!

What piece of clothing/beauty item can’t you live without?

Nail Polish! It is the ultimate accessory! You can still look pulled together, even if you don’t have on jewelry, makeup or fancy clothes.

Online shopping or brick-and-mortar stores?

Online shopping! Asos.com and Urban Outfitters.com are permanently programmed into my laptop’s cache.

If there’s one thing you can change about the “real” industry, what would it be?

Unfortunately, skin color and size are still an issue. Not as much as in the “old” days…and by “old” days I mean…the 90s…lol I can’t wait until all brands and designers use a wider range of ethnicities as their spokeswomen and models.

Anything else you’d like to add?

I would like to add that since I have begun the blog, I have had a burst of creative energy like I have never had in my life! I want to thank everyone for the support, comments, and features and for reading my blog! It’s nice to know that people are really enjoying my daily rants!
