Bloor Street: Three Empty Store Fronts….What’s Going Where?

Toronto’s Bloor Street currently has three empty storefronts.  One used to be Lululemon (now on Cumberland), another Feet First and one which used to be Noir (which closed down a few years ago).  There is also a huge space next to the church, just east of Avenue Road.  With several stores scheduled to land by the end of the year, people are beginning to wonder which new places will take over what.

Max Mara (top left) may move to the old Noir location (far right) to make room for Michael Kors; The old Lululemon location (bottom left) may become Intermix; What’s taking over the old Feet First location is unknown

We know that Intermix is going to be taking over 2,500 square feet of space  According to many blogs, it is slated to move into what used to be Lululemon.  Kind of makes sense to me, size wise.  However, I also feel that it’s super-tiny for an Intermix – isn’t that store supposed to be a bit bigger?  After all, it carries several designers, no?  Perhaps TNT The New Trend, which is expanding like crazy had something to say about it.  Another rumour I’ve heard is that Michael Kors is moving into what’s currently Max Mara, and Max Mara will move into the old Noir space.  This leaves Feet First to be home to a “big European brand.”  But will that space even be big enough?  The old Feet First store isn’t that big, after all.  So unless it’s a shoe store or it’s going to take over both street level and the upper floor, they may very well be moving into a completely different location.

What do you think?  What’s going to take over which location?
