Boobyball 2011 Celebrates 10 Years!

The annual ReThink! Breast Cancer party, Boobyball, celebrated its tenth anniversary at a blasting fun birthday-themed event last night at Andrew Richard Designs last night.  The venue was decorated like a kid’s birthday party held at a fair, with cotton candy as well as nibblies such as grilled cheese, poutine, sliders and of course, mini cupcakes.  A DJ was also there to play the latest hits as well as old favourites.  A photographer was there to take pictures of attendees for flipbooks and an artist was available to sketch portraits.  Celebrities Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup of 90210 were also in attendance.

In terms of style, attendees’ outfits ranged from standard party (many women were wearing pink, of course) attire to creative to even eccentric and Halloween-y.  There were even Stormtroopers from Star Wars.  One of the best-looking dresses was Aja’s creation, a vintage-looking tea-length petticoat piece that she created herself.  Most interesting were two guys who brightly coloured 1970s suits, one in orange and another in baby blue!

It was a very well-attended party.  By 10:30 pm, there was a line to get in!
