So Brad turned 50 recently, according to IMDB. However, despite being well into middle age, he still gives off a very immature vibe at times, especially when it comes to his looks. In many public appearances, he just seems…sloppy. I know that he and Angelina have several young children, but it doesn’t mean that he has to look like he just rolled out of bed – even when he’s dressed up. He seems to have a thing for facial hair, too (over the last few years, anyway).

It’s funny. He didn’t always look like that. The first Brad Pitt movie I saw was probably A River Runs Through It. It was the early 90s and I was 13 years old. That guy looked FIIINNNNNEE both in the movie and in real life – or the “real life” I got from TV interviews. He looked fairly clean. This was followed by Legends of the Fall a year or two later. The character was greasy and unkempt at some points of the movie, but out of character, he maintained a sexy, neat look. However, things seemed to have changed since he and Jennifer Aniston split. It’s as if Benjamin Button hit him, but not in a reverse aging sort of way in the physical sense. Instead, it is mental. I also don’t understand why he looks so…greasy, even when he’s dressed up on the red carpet. Again, this is fine for a young actor in his 20s, but not for someone more than twice that age – even Matthew McConaughey, known for a sloppy, surfer dude look is often “neater.” On someone Brad Pitt’s age, it just cries “dirty old man.” At least he hasn’t gone the direction of many male musicians who are even older – you know, wrinkly guys who wear tight, chest-showing shirts and man-jeggings. Now THAT is gross.
Words of advice to Brad: Dress more like George Clooney or other guys in your age range. Look like you take a shower. Please.
