Check out 2015 trends for The Bridal Look
FACE:
BB Creams are now the best on market for skin and we recommend Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector, a hybrid formula that combines the expected anti-aging and moisturizing skincare with mineral pigments to help smooth out skin. We like how smooth it makes skin feel and that it applies almost silk-like. A lighter weight alternative is Garnier Ombrelle Ultra-Fluid Lotion for Face, which is a hypoallergenic, fragrance and colorant free lightweight lotion that won’t clog pores and works well under make-up, while providing SPF protection.
If BB Creams are not your thing, Maybelline New York Face Studio Master Prime is a water-based formula that hydrates skin while its blurring fibers smooth skin tone and texture. It’s actually quite magical, almost like an eraser effect and works in four ways. First, it smoothes uneven skin texture, then it brightens your complexion, it protects with SPF30 and it controls redness. It’s a weightless, non-oily product and it even doubles as a make-up primer.
EYES
They say the eyes are the windows to your soul and certainly are one of the first thing’s your Groom will notice is the way you look at him. One trend this season is winged eye liner. Maybelline New York Eye Studio® Master Graphic has the easiest liner around for creating this effect.
When paired with Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara, you get a full-fan effect. This innovative open fan brush has a ground-breaking 6-bristle structure to reach and unfold every layer of lashes.
No matter the technology, false lashes give a completely fuller look than mascara. If you want a very natural look with such lashes, probably the best on the market is KISS Looks So Natural Lashes. They are weightless and comfortable.
CHEEKS:
One of the hottest trends – popping up in all celeb make-up bags – is the blush stick. We really like Maybelline Master Glaze by Facestudio blush stick, particularly in Just Pinched Pink. This super sheer colour glaze gives a dewy, fresh look to cheeks and is a non-comedogenic formula so it doesn’t clog pores. You can build and layer for a deeper effect. What makes Blush Sticks even cooler is they can be used on eyes or lips for a sheer colour glaze … anytime!
HAIR:
This season, voluminous, healthy, shiny hair with a bounce is the rage. We recommend Garnier Fructis Root Amp Spray to give volume, Garnier Fructis Full and Plush Ends Plumper for richer ends – this treatment of fibra-cylane and pomegranate plumps hair ends for a fuller look – and Garnier Fructis Full and Plush Voluptuous Blowout Treatment (seen above) for a sassy, buoyant bridal look, rather than a more sophisticate updo or pulled back style.
LIPS:
Feminine, soft lips are very trendy such as Maybelline New York Color Elixirs (in shades like Petal Pink and Hibiscus Pop) or a matte bold style Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturizing Lipstick in Matte (Shade: Pink Pucker & Bold Red), seen above.
BODY:
The body scent en trend this summer is Moroccanoil Fleur de Rose Body Souffle. The scent is quite hedonistic while seeming to be very natural and feminine.
NAILS:
For nails, this season, Essie is the way to go The Brand has some fab nail polishes for summer brides including Private Weekend (white) and Starter Wife (nude) for a perfect French Manicure, or Bachelorette Bash (majenta pink) for a very traditional, pretty in pink look.
