Chinese New Year Dinner at the 360 Restaurant: What I Wore

My family went to the 360 Restaurant, a revolving restaurant at the CN Tower for our annual “spin of luck and good fortune” dinner.  This is a tradition that we have continued to do for over The dinner was absolutely amazing (we were very lucky to go on a clear night so we got an amazing view of the city).  Since people often buy a new outfit for New Years, I went out and got a new dress from a store in the Queen West and Ossington area called Champagne and Cupcakes.  Founded by designer Caroline Lim four years ago, all of the dresses sold there are unique to the store, with styles that are what I call ecletically classical.

Ms. Madmen dress from Champagne and Cupcakes, size XS (altered)
Cropped jacket from Ann Taylor (old), size XSP
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Prorata, size 34

The original length was actually fairly long – almost calf length.  It was also a little bit big all over, despite being an extra small.  Luckily, the store does custom tailoring, so I got the dress hemmed and taken in.  The new dress looks much better.  And yes, we had an amazing dinner.  Here’s a picture of the view from where we were sitting!

Food pictures, along with a more detailed post about the restaurant will go up on DelectablyChic! in the morning. UPDATED: Check here for food pics!
