Bonjour Colette!: Photos from the Media Preview

Colette Grand Café, a French-inspired cafe and restaurant at the Thompson Hotel (550 Wellington Street West), held a media preview the day before its grand opening.  Located at the former home of Scarpetta, this restaurant offers both a grab-and-go bakery and a sit-down restaurant.  At the media event, attendees were given the opportunity to taste some of the restaurant’s offerings as well as learn more about the eatery.  One item I saw, but did not get a chance to try were the jumbo macarons.  Rather than being tiny and delicate like the typical macaron one finds in Toronto, these are closer to cookie sized!  Yum!
