Unique, Sophisticated Credo Lands in Yorkville

Six year old Spanish-based Credo officially celebrated its Toronto debut on December 14.  With delicious appetizers as well as two signature drinks and informal modelling of Credo’s shirts, guests mingled and learned about Credo’s unique philosphy of sophisticated style.

Opened several weeks ago and located at what was formerly the McCaffrey Haute Couture bridal shop, this high-end men’s and women’s dress shirt company, this location is the only one in North America.  In addition to shirts, the boutique also carries accessories including bags, shoes and ties.  Credo also offers personal shopping and style consultations among their services.

What is unique about Credo is the fact that each and every item is extremely limited, with one of every size.  For example, if you see a purple shirt in a size 40 (Credo uses European sizing.  A size 40 women’s will fit a main street/mass ready-to-wear size 2 or 4), that will be the only purple size 40 shirt you will be able to purchase.  This is also the case with shoes.

Credo shirts are slim, European fit.  Men’s and women’s shirts are available in single, double and triple collars (men only) in a variety of styles, fabrics and colours.  In addition, the women’s line has more of an hourglass shape, giving off a more tailored, sophisticated and elegant look, living up to Credo’s philosophy of catering to individuals who “appreciates quality products, food & wine, culture, fine cars, and travelling.”   Women’s shirts range between $175-245 for women and $225-305 for men.  This is a pretty god price considering its uniqueness.

Credo is located at the upper level of 114 Cumberland Street in Yorkville.  Credo is also very active on social media, with both Facebook and Twitter accounts.
