Dainty Girl’s Shopping Night at Fresh Collective

Toronto blog Dainty Girl hosted a shopping night at Fresh Collective‘s Queen and Palmerston location Tuesday evening.  Fresh Collective, which has several locations in Toronto as well as an online presence, sells predominantly Toronto-based designers that are fairly budget-friendly (most pieces aren’t much higher than the low-mid $100s).  In addition to shopping – the entire store was on discount – there were manicures from Bio Seaweed as well as make-up consultation from local, cruelty-free cosmetics line, DaLish Cosmetics (though no make-overs or touch-ups were given from what I could see).  Attendees all had the chance to enter giveaways, including a dress from Bionic, one of the lines sold at the shop.

This event was the polar opposite of the Pomp and Pageantry party on Saturday.  Far more intimate, it was much easier to browse, try on clothing and mingle with other attendees.  Light snacks, which included miniature cupcakes as well as healthier options, such as veggies and hummus, were provided for attendees.  Most of the party-goers were readers of Dainty Girl, bloggers themselves or both.  It was a fun evening and I’m sure many people left with some loot – even if it’s just new nails!
