Visa Canada’s Infinite card holders now have a new program called the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection, which allows them perks at various hotels around the world.  Launched in June 2010, this program targets the luxury traveller, giving them 24-hour concierge service for bookings, special rates as well as food vouchers and upgrades among other things.

The types of properties participating in this service vary.  There are resorts of all kinds as well as hotels in urban areas, including the popular boutique style hotels.  In an interview with DelectablyChic!, Visa representative, Jennifer Arthurton, “lifestyle aspects are very important to our clients.  Perks are important and they should not cost extra.”  There are currently over 700 properties involved with the program and Visa hopes to increase it to over 1,000.    There are no minimum stay requirements (average is around two or three nights) nor do people need to acquire a certain amount of points.
