Equinox Lands North of the Border with a Big Party

Upscale fitness club, Equinox has opened its doors in Toronto’s financial district.  This well-known chain, which has been part of the luxury fitness landscape in the US for over 20 years, takes over 35,000 square feet of space at Commerce Court, offering a whole host of fitness-related programs.  Equinox Bay Street offers the usual suspect of programs, including personal training, group classes and more.  In addition to clubs across the United States, Equinox also has a location in London.

To celebrate its grand opening, the club was transformed into a party space, featuring celebrity DJ, Brendan Fallis and well-attended by the Who’s Who, including Greta Constantine designer Kirk Pickersgill and actress Sarah Gadon.  All attendees sampled delicious and healthy hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Equinox’s café, the Juicery and also viewed a performance called “Only At Equinox,” which was a montage of all the programs available at the club.  While DelectablyChic! was unable to be in attendance, it sounds like this was an amazing event!
