Fashion’s Night Out Toronto – September 6, 2012

Yep, it’s been official for a while now – Fashion’s Night Out, which was founded in 2009 by Vogue Magazine in the US to help boost the economy is happening in Toronto for the first time this September 6 – which is, by the way, also the first day of New York Fashion Week and the Toronto International Film Festival.  Many Toronto area stores are participating, including Holt Renfrew, rac boutique, Yorkdale and a new entry into the Av Dav area, Aime, who will also be celebrating its grand opening that evening.  Regular DelectablyChic! readers will be familiar with Monica Mei’s all-season line as being very comfortable and petite-friendly as well as her newly introduced M Project which features a collection of eco-friendly t-shirts where partial proceeds go to charity.

In addition to shopping, many stores will have special events, including makeovers, fashion shows and more.  A full list of stores can be found at the official Fashion’s Night Out website in the “outside NYC” section and then clicking Ontario.  Not all Toronto stores have been added to the website just yet (not too many Yorkville or Eaton Centre area stores are currently listed – but that could change).  Other Canadian cities participating include Chatham, Ontario, Vancouver and Montreal.  More cities could be added later.  This is going to be a very fun night.  Who else is excited?
