The 6th Annual Frocktail Party held at the stunning Arcadian Loft raised $100,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Almost 500 guests came out in their most fashionable outfits to bid on designer dresses from Balmain, Gucci, Lanvin, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Miu Miu, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem, Versace, Dior, Alexander McQueen and more!

Organizers revealed that this year’s hottest items were “His and Hers” custom Burberry trench coats, a silver fox fur blanket from Caroline Furs, a custom suit from Garrison Bespoke and there was a fierce bidding war over a preloved Alexander McQueen clutch!

Beautiful, bling-y shoes up for auction
This year there were more guests and definitely more men among them. There was also a fairly large selection of men’s auction items. While the gals were dressed to the hilt, the guys varied in formality with some in stylish blazers and others more hip-hop in flavour. One of the most fun elements of the night were the beauty bars. There was a fabulous hair bar by The Revlon Professional Style, nail bar by by CND and eyelash bar by Winks. Another highlight was the fab swag room.

The DJ rocked the night and the dance floor was quite packed and definitely happening. Hors d’oeuvres were provided by Oliver & Bonacini including fish cakes, chicken pate and oysters Rockefeller. A popular drink was the sexy Bloody Caesars.
VIPs spotted at the event include Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong of Greta Constantine, Peter Oliver, Ainsley Kerr and more. Over the past six years, Frocktail Party has raised more than $300,000 for JDRF and this year’s event was the best one yet!
