Gotstyle, Toronto’s favourite menswear shop and styling service has launched a women’s department in their 6,700 square foot Distillery District location. Like menswear, women will have the chance to not only shop contemporary Canadian and international designers, but also like the guys, receive style services including how to shop as well as style and trend tips. The boutique will also have a made-to-measure suiting service for women. The service, headed by Project Runway Canada alumna, Kendra Francis, is similar to the many suit services currently available to men. Clients will have the ability to choose fabrics, colours and styles, ranging from classics to the latest trends.

The store itself was designed by The Design Agency, known for their work on Toronto society favourites like Momofoku and SoHo House, definitely has a vintage industrial feel. With exposed beam and raw wooden floors, the shop is definitely a good fit with its surroundings in the area. The store also features hair services (including a barbershop, which according to the website, still leans more towards men. Perhaps they’ll add a blow dry bar in the near future?) as well as in-house tailoring and kids’ areas. The space is available for events as well.

Of course, guys’ clothes aren’t forgotten!

Gotstyle at the Distillery District is located at 21 Trinity Street. Hours are Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM.
