One of DelectablyChic!’s favourite events of the year, the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo (not to be confused with the Food and Wine Festival, which was held earlier this year) starts on Thursday with a VIP party and continues until Sunday at the Metro Convention Centre North Building. Many old favourites are returning, including Magic Oven and Muskoka Lakes Wineries, but it seems that Hank Daddy’s (known for their pulled pork parfaits) will not be there. As usual, there will be cooking demonstrations, “tutored tastings” (full schedule here) and much more (including the much-loved Mott’s Clamato Best Caesar in Town National Final). Celebrity chef, Mark McEwan will be making an appearance on Friday.

We will be covering the VIP event on Thursday night, so watch for our posts on social media and a post later detailing our absolute favourites!
Tickets for the event are available on the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo website. Entry prices for the event will depend on the day and time you attend. For example, the VIP evening is $45 and it is $25 before 5 PM on Friday. However, the evening price jumps up to $35 on Friday night. It’s advised that you purchase tickets online as they often sell out on-site.
