Kate Spade Revamps Site & Adds Canadian Shipping

As a Canadian, I only get a limited selection of Kate Spade bags, currently available at Holt Renfrew.  Imagine my pleasant surprise when yesterday, I went into their website not only to find a newly revamped version which includes not only product, a “Deborah Loves” section (similar to “Jenna’s Picks” on jcrew.com) and a corporate responsibility page (Woman for Woman), but the ability to e-shop in Canada!  Of course, like any other non-Canadian based e-shop, there’ll be delivery charges ($49 for a bag that costs $325 US – for some reason, it doesn’t give estimated taxes/duty before one presses the purchase button).  However, I’m glad that I’ll be able to get an extended collection without having to go to the United States.

Most of the Kate Spade collection, ranging from clothes to bags, shoes and other accessories are available on the site.  Kate Spade Home, which includes bedding, table settings and bath, will be available online soon.  Now that they’re delivering to Canada, maybe boutiques will come soon?
