Lightweight Lip Looks with Fresh’s Sugar Lip Treatment: An IFB Project

I’m not a big fan of strong, bold lip colour – probably influenced by strict no make-up dress codes in high school.  I keep my face fairly bare, often just wearing sunscreen, primer and a bit of mascara and lip colour.  So, for IFB’s 108th Project, which asks us about our favourite lipsticks, I decided to talk about Fresh’s Sugar Lip Treatment (available at Sephora), a line I started using around 2010-2011 when Smashbox discontinued its tinted lip treatments.

With eight shades (plus one colourless) to choose from (latest addition is Cherry), all in cute aluminum cases, these moisturizing, lightweight lip colours are great for those little-to-no make-up days!  Fresh has been adding new shades every few months for the past couple of years, and though I’ve tried most of the colours, it’s been hard for me to decide which one is my ultimate favourite.  However, if I had to choose, I’d have to say either Honey (a brown-based nude – this was actually the first colour I bought) or Plum (purple base).  My only issue with the treatments is that the SPF is only 15.  Could be a bit higher, I think.

Have you used this product before?  What are your thoughts?
