The number one complaint for the last Mad Men Banana Republic Collection collaboration that launched in August 2011 was the lack of petite sizing.  This time, however, is a different story.  The collection, which has fewer pieces this time (and no shoes), includes petites in pretty much every item (except the cardigan – the Canadian site does not have the tie-neck blouse, but I saw them at the Bloor Street store in Toronto), including the cigarette pants (remember how gawd-awful the cigarette pants looked on me last time?).  In addition, the Canadian site specifically has a on the left hand side of the page (see images above and below), leading to the petite collection (there is no top menu selection for petites on the Canadian site, unlike the US).  I think it’s great that Banana Republic is emphasizing on the availability of petites, especially after last time, so good for them!

One thing I am disappointed about in this collection is the lack of colour.  Everything is white/off-white or fuchsia! I would have loved to have seen some greens, oranges and blues as well.  The last collection had deep purples and maroons, so why not more shades this time around?
