Mott’s Fruitsations + Veggies: Kids’ Faves Go Office Friendly!

I was recently contacted by a PR company to attend a kid-friendly event promoting Mott’s new Fruitsations + Veggies and Fruitsations Fruit Rockets snacks.  Though they’re geared little ones, adults, too, would enjoy this delicious snack.  The Fruitsations + Veggies come in two flavours – apple sauce and carrots mixed with cherries and other berries and one mixed with peach.  They both come in individual packages of six.  The other product attendees got to try were the Fruitsations Fruit Rockets – apple sauce-based snacks in squeeze bottles.  Two flavours were available, regular and mixed with strawberry.  Each container has fulfills one full serving of fruits and vegetables (2/3 fruits, 1/3 veggies), according to the Canada Food Guide.

Fruitsations + Veggies – Peach Apple Carrot

I had never had apple sauce mixed with carrots before and found it to be very interesting.  The cups were very apple and peach (or “Cherry Berry”) dominant and can barely taste the carrots.  In fact, I wouldn’t have known that there were carrots in the snack if I wasn’t told.  This was definitely created for the picky kid who likes fruit but not vegetables!  In terms of  which cup I preferred, I would have to say peach as the berry was a little bit on the tart side.

The other treat presented at the event were the Fruitsations Fruit Rockets, which again, come in two flavours (this time, regular apple sauce and apple sauce mixed with strawberry).  These tubes are great for kids and take up very little space – excellent for packed lunches.  Caps are resealable so when closed properly, won’t create a mess if unfinished.

With everyone, adults and kids alike, looking to get healthier, while at the same time, still enjoy nibbles here or there, the apple sauces are great to keep at one’s desk – even the Fruitsations Fruit Rockets (especially if you’re not worried about people looking at you funny).

All of these snacks are available at the local grocery store.
