The Fall/Winter 2012 collections will be presented between February 9 and 16. Once again, many designers will be streaming their shows online so that those of us who can’t be in New York will be able to watch. Online shows, which include BCBGMaxAzria, Rebecca Minkoff, Carolina Herrera and Badgely Mischka will be streamed on the LiveRunway YouTube channel. Other designers may choose to stream from Facebook or their websites. If the Fall-Winter 2012 collections were anything like the past, highlights from the vast majority of shows will be posted online soon after its presentation.

Fashion is now fully embracing the web. In addition to online streaming by various designers, Polyvore will be hosting a bloggers’ fashion show on February 13, featuring many of the web’s best-known style and fashion bloggers, including Aimee Song, Rachel Nguyen, Amy Levin and Carly Cristman, according to Refinery29.com. This event, which isn’t an “official” Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show, will feature the designs of FIT alumni including Lauren Bagliore (who has presented at Toronto Fashion Week in the past) and Celistino.
