DelectablyChic!’s Favourite OOAK Christmas 2015 Exhibitors

The One of a Kind Show kicked off Thursday at the EnerCare Centre (formerly known as the Direct Energy Centre) at Exhibition Place. For those of us looking for holiday items, especially items to add to the tree (or, if you’re like me, for the tree – my tree doesn’t go up until the first weekend in December), there are plenty of Christmas decorations and Christmas/holiday-related items and gifts to pick from. Some of our favourites include:

BLINK Chocolate: (Booth F24), Full Show

Based out of British Columbia, they were also at the show last holiday season, featuring delicious chocolate barks. I bought three packages last time and though I tried to ration, they barely lasted until Christmas Day! There are many flavours to choose from, including the “Xmas edition” peppermint bark featuring crushed candy cane. Espresso is also very good and they have two versions available, including one with espresso mixed into the chocolate (as seen in the image above).

Artech Glass Blowing Studios: (Booth V46, Full Show)

Coasters and drinking glasses including ones made out of upcycled beer bottles.  There is also a “Canadiana” collection featuring “Canadianisms” and national critters (including the glasses above).

Fine Wood Ornaments: (Booth S36, Full Show)

if you’re looking for something a little special for your tree (especially as a gift), this is for you.  These gorgeous pieces can be personalized (as you can see, mine says “Christmas 2015”) and bottom slips out where you can place messages.

Tony Taylor Art: (Booth K06, Full Show)

This is Tony’s debut at the One of a Kind Show.  His artwork exhibited at the show are, for the most part, related to politics, with well-known politicians as animals.  One of my favourites, which I purchased, features Canadian party leaders as a horse, bear and raccoon (above).

Rootham Gourmet: (Booth G34, Full Show)

Rootham’s Gourmet, a regular at the show, has GOT to be one of my favourite sauce brands.  The Fire Roasted Red Pepper Ketchup is often used in my recipes, though I am a little disappointed to hear that the other red pepper sauce (which includes basil and thyme) has been discontinued.  They were recently featured on Food Network Canada’s show, Food Factory.  They also have other products including delicious chutneys and jams/fruit spreads.

DaLish Cosmetics: (Booth T47, Full Show)

Gorgeous, locally-produced cosmetics featuring as many natural ingredients – ones which are free of GMOs, parabens, sulfates, etc… And if you don’t like using brushes for your eyeshadows, you’re in luck!  All eyeshadows come in tubes and are applied with a wand, just like lipgloss.  And when you make a purchase, items come in a cute cardboard tube container. 🙂  The colours are gorgeous – especially if you are more of a basic, natural look kind of gal!

The One of a Kind Show runs until December 6, 2015.  Tickets are available online and at the door.
