Pretty Warm-Weather Friendly Pieces with Milly for Banana Republic

Last year, we saw Banana Republic collaborate with Trina Turk for a collection of lightweight, summer-appropriate looks and this year, it’s Milly by Michelle’s turn.  Launching on May 30 at select Banana Republic stores and online, these bright, colourful, Hamptons-inspired summer pieces include dresses, tops, shorts and more.  It is also Milly’s first attempt at menswear (the guys’ pieces are just as colourful and I think some of these pieces take a certain type of guy to wear them). As with Trina Turk’s collection last year, these pieces are great dressier cottage pieces as well as something for a casual city dinner.  Of course, they’re also excellent resort pieces.  Here are just some of the looks that will be available:

Three stores in Toronto will be celebrating the collection with an event starting at 5 PM.  They are: Bloor Street, Eaton Centre and Yorkdale.  Other stores in Canada and the United States will also be holding events.

The price range is between $39.50 and $175.  What are your thoughts?  Do you have any favourites?
