So the collection only featured two gold pieces, but Rachel Sin’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection once again features simple, yet elegant classics. With basic black, grey and white shades as well as yellow, orange and coral, the collection is perfect for many occasions, including date night, brunch with “the girls” and even the office (provided that some of the lower-cut tops and dresses are worn with a camisole). I can’t say which ones are my favourite because I like pretty much ALL of them.

In addition to being versatile, the collection looks to be fairly size-friendly – at least height-wise. While the jump suits are probably next-to-impossible to properly alter for a shorter girl, many of the dresses, skirts and pants could easily be hemmed or could work on a shorter figure even if it looks long. Most of the pieces would look wonderful paired with camel coloured sandles (or even metallics – especially gold (considering the theme), whether they’re flats or heels.
I would, however, have liked to see some print, something present in Rachel’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Of course, this is not “typical” of the designer’s collections and solids or pieces with two shades (such as the grey and white front slit skirt) are more “classic” and long-lasting. And “long-lasting” is a good thing, in my opinion.
