Flowy Boho Chic Styles Do Not Fail at Rebecca Minkoff

Most people don’t think of fall fashio as being soft and flowy.  This was definitely not the case at Rebecca Minkoff, whose boho chic and 80s-inspired styles did not disappoint in her Fall/Winter 2011 collections.  With slouchy sweaters and cranberry ripped leggings as well as flowy dresses, animal prints as well the requisite blacks and silvers (for the winter), there are definintely many must haves in this collection.

Greens and teals were definitely a common sight, with a little less cranberry/red tones than other collections presenting in New York this season.  Much of Rebecca’s collection was filled with black, whites as well as some greens and teals.  The one piece that stood out the most for DelectablyChic! is definitely the red jacket, which was paired with a black, asymmetrical top, skinny pants and boots.  Another piece of interest is are the ripped leggings (skinny pants?) that was paired with a copper toned over-sized sweater.  The final piece, a long, flowing dress that cries spring/summer more than fall/winter also earns thumbs up.  Of course, there were also pieces that could have been better. The fur pieces just looked a little bulky.  And if it looked that way on tall runway models, imagine what it would be like on someone who is around 5’5″ and say, a size 8.   Oh well.
