Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, presented on Friday, is about the rocker chick fringe. From the tall boots to jackets and more, it was in almost every look going down that runway. Really, the only thing missing were models carrying guitars with them as they walked.
While the pieces can be a little young – at least the way that it was styled on the runway – there are looks that can work on women of all ages in some way. After all, there’s a musician in all of us. In addition, the looks were quite size-friendly. If you can fit into Rebecca Minkoff’s size range, chances are, you’ll be able to find several pieces in this collection which will work for you, since there weren’t many pieces that would look off or overwhelming on most body types. This, as regular readers know, is something I am highly critical of (and that many designers love to ignore). With just simple alterations, many looks would be find on shorter statured ladies, for example. In fact, the singer who performed during the show appeared to be on the petite side and she looked better than the much taller model who wore the same dress down the runway!
