RW&Co Celebrates e-Commerce Launch with The Coveteur

Partnering with “closet” style blog The Coveteur and to celebrate the impending launch of their e-commerce site, Canadian mall favourite, RW&Co an artistic look of their fall collection as styled and curated by the trio.  Presented on canvas and placed in all corners of the venue, these uniquely shot photos are part of the store’s fall digital look book.  The images as well as the collection will be online once the new site has launched.

The party’s theme was very much an end-of-summer “fun fair” with a nacho and Tiny Tom doughnut bar as well as delicious mini grilled cheese sandwiches and an ice cream truck parked in the front of the venue.  As this event was to kick off the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the official vodka of the event, SKYY was there creating three movie star-themed drinks (one each for Kiera Knightley, Ryan Gosling and Gwyneth Paltrow, all with films debuting at TIFF this year).  The drinks were good, though I thought the Gosling really should not have been pink nor should it have been made with vodka, but rum (Gosling’s, none the less), but a sponsor is a sponsor, after all.

Food-wise, I’d have to say that it was hard to decide which was the best.  The mini grilled cheese sandwiches, which were made on the premises, were topped with a dab of smokey ketchup while the nacho and doughnut bars had a good selection (though typical) selection of toppings including shredded chicken and green onions for the nachos and icing sugar, cinnamon and chocolate and plain cinnamon for the doughnuts.  And because the ice cream truck was outside the main party area, it was really either a first or last stop for attendees.  The selection was old fashioned, of course, but hey, who could resist a soft serve twist of chocolate and vanilla?
