Scrubs in the City is one of Toronto’s most fresh and fun-filled social events. Now in its 13th year, the annual fundraiser has raised a total of more than $2.4 million for SickKids.
Some silent auction items
These year’s theme was Soirée Under the Stars and net proceeds will support the SickKids Operating Suites Redevelopment Project. SickKids performs more than 12,000 surgeries annually to some of the most critically ill children from around the world.

The event was held once again at Evergreen Brickworks and this year’s theme was around the colour white. The well over 800 guests dressed in the colour – whether by wearing chic couture or going ultra casual in white tops and shorts – and the décor was a fabulous combo of jumbo white balloons, stylish white lounge settings and gorgeous white orchids and roses. It was possibly the best that DelectablyChic! has seen since we started covering the event in 2011.
Audience jamming with the band
Let’s make s’mores!
Highlights of the night included the choc-a-bloc silent auction, the scrumptious hors d’eouvres, the glitter tattoo stall, much loved s’mores dessert table and in particular the exceptional band SolePower. One memorable moment occurred when SolePower’s lead singer did a powerful mashup of Izzy Azalea’s “I’m So Fancy” and Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” What an amazing night!
