Shop What You Want at Billy Bishop Airport

Everyone in Toronto knows Porter Airlines and its reputation for flying stylishly.  Its home airport, Billy Bishop – formerly known as Toronto Island Airport – now has a hip new boutique called WANT Passport, selling stylish travel-essential items such as city guides, international adapters as well as items from Montreal-based men-focused travel accessories line, WANT Les Essenstiels de la Vie. Kid-friendly items, including wooden toys are also for sale.  This boutique opened its doors just a few weeks ago.

There are three stores at the airport.  The official boutique, located in the arrivals area as well as two smaller locations in departures.  While the brand definitely has a guy’s touch, there are some items at the boutique that would be of interest to women, including “essential” items such as stockings (there are also “essential” items for men).  Tech accessories are, course not specifically targeted as are notebooks and agendas (if you still choose to use one of those rather than your smartphone).  This boutique is definitely for the trendy type, within “brand” for those who fly Porter.

Brands available at WANT Passport include: Aesop, Leica, Filippa K and Hay as well as Porter Airlines-branded items.  Some brands, including Lonetree and Yumaki, are exclusive to the store.
