Making the Most of Your Accessories for Spring!

Christopher Massardo

Spring is just around the corner and one of the most exciting things about the spring season is the return of so many colours to the landscapes for us Canadians! On that note, spring colours are making their way back into the rotation and we’re pointing out a few key trends for accessorising this coming spring!

  • Chunky doesn’t always have to mean ‘huge’ when it comes to a great textured piece bursting with colour! Take a look at some of the necklaces from Jessica Biffi’s “Covet by Biffi” accessories line for a great example.
  • Floral print and cat eye sunglasses are in, so take advantage! (An easy way to make that simple summer outfit pop with minimal effort)
  • Floral inspired colours that are bright in impact but a touch cooler than ‘too bright to handle’ are making the rounds, don’t be shy to try some out because these colours won’t drown you out.
  • In general things are going a simpler route, so pick a focus, don’t just throw it all on. Make a statement with a piece not the whole closet at once!

So with that being said, don’t be bland this spring, try something colourful, try something floral but at the end of the day try something that is you.
