Vegan Leather Leggings: Loot from Shop ‘Til You Drop

LouLou Magazine’s Shop ‘Til You Drop, a shopping event similar to Lucky’s LUCKY SHOPS and Fashion’s Night Out was held in Toronto earlier this week.  Though I was still suffering from a cold, I braved the unusually cool weather and went to several events and picked up tights as well as a houndstooth dress (picture coming soon).  One thing I purchased that wasn’t in stores was a pair of vegan leather leggings from eLuxe.ca, a Canadian-based online shopping destination similar to Gilt (but without the need to pay all the extra duty prices).  The leggings are by Blank, and despite being marketed as “leggings,”  are really a hybrid of peggings and leggings – they zip up and do not have an elastic waist.

Sweater: Banana Republic (old)
Camisole: Level 33 Seamless Tank
Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (old)
Belt: BCBG (came with a dress)
Sunglasses: KayTran Allison in Rustic Red

These are actually much more comfortable than faux leather pants I’ve tried before.  It’s very light weight and the length, at 28 1/2″  (the length on the website is a typo) is perfect for most petites as it still looks a little cropped. Looks great with either flats or kitten heels (I won’t recommend wearing it with skyscraper heels unless you’re wearing them with a Halloween costume – LOL).

In a LOFT top (one that you saw in an earlier post) :

What do you think? Do you own faux/vegan leather or leather pants?
