Webitor’s Picks: Shopping Crawl Shoes!

Cities everywhere are holding shopping crawls.  Fashion’s Night Out was a couple of weeks ago in many parts of the world, and in Canada, Shop ‘Til You Drop is happening in three cities over the next few weeks (Toronto is September 21, Montreal on September 22 and Burnaby on October 6).  Shopping crawls generally means a lot of walking.  However, this isn’t just any trip to the shopping district.  This is also supposed to be a party – Toronto, for example, will have its after-party at La Société).  So what’s a girl to do?  Find comfortable, yet pretty shoes, of course!  Since most of these events take place during the week, the typical shopper is probably coming from a day at the office.  However, not all office shoes are comfortable and not all “commuter” shoes shopping party-ready.  Personally, I’d go with something that isn’t too overtly crazy, subtle, but not boring and at the same time, work-appropriate.  Flats and wedges (or a chunky heel) like the ones below are definitely preferred – your feet will thank you for that.

Do you agree with these choices?  What would you wear to shopping crawl?
